Following our countdowns of heads & volleys, assists, funniest moments, games, long range strikes and skills, we finish off our series of top five lists with five of the best moments of the 2016 season.

Jack Attack
In a season containing many storylines, Jack Harrisonās emergence from rookie to key starter has been one of the most exciting to follow.
Following as it did, an injury-hit start to the year, Harrison earned a nomination for Rookie of the Year in the end-of-season MLS awards and in many ways it all started here, when Jack scored his first goal for the club against Real Salt Lake.

Cometh the Hour
Arguably the moment of the season: Frank Lampardās winning goal against DC United in the last minute.
The fact that itās featured in a number of these top five lists just goes to show what a great moment it was as Lampard danced and shuffled his feet before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper.
He may have slipped when he was celebrating but Iām sure he wonāt have minded too muchā¦

Columbus Rally
The final Regular Season game was a dramatic one which swung backwards and forwards for and against usā¦
When Columbus equalized and Toronto scored against Chicago, it looked as though that Knockout Round bye was going north of the border but Jackās goal turned the tide in NYCFCās favor.
That led to two more unanswered goals which clinched the top two finish in the Eastern Conference and could yet have secured CONCACAF Champions League soccer for the first time.

Turning Point
Is this the moment NYCFCās 2016 fortunes turned?
Steven Mendozaās 73rd minute goal against Vancouver brought an end to five winless home games and kick-started a remarkable unbeaten run at Yankee Stadium which ultimately took us into MLS Playoffs for the first time.
It served as something of a turning point in 2016 and laid the foundations for our future successā¦
