Only a Few Hundred New York City FC Founding Memberships Remain

NEW YORK CITY | New York City FC have surpassed 19,600 Founding Members. The Club announced last month that they will cap Founding Memberships at 20,000, leaving less than 400 memberships remaining. Demand for tickets has been robust all season, with average home game attendance of nearly 29,000.

The Club will also open the 300 level of Yankee Stadium to meet increased demand for tickets to the last regular season home match on October 25th. Special activations will also be held throughout the match in honor of Fan Appreciation night. Fans can secure seating in the lower levels by becoming one of the final founding Members.

Tom Glick, President of New York City FC, said:

“Our Founding Members have been driving the excitement behind our inaugural season from the outset. We are thrilled with the momentum we have had in tickets sales all season and that so many New Yorkers continue to get behind our Club. We will now continue building this club with 20,000 Founding Members by our side.”

David Villa, New York City FC captain, said:

“The support from our fans has been immense all season. Watching them grow in numbers and voice throughout the year has been amazing, and it continues to be an honor to give everything we have for them. We can’t wait to play in front of another massive crowd on October 25th.”

Founding Members receive a number of benefits including: preferred full season ticket pricing for the life of the account, priority access to seat selection in future seasons and the opportunity to have names etched in stone at the Club’s future soccer-specific stadium.

Fans can get tickets by visiting or by calling 855-77-NYCFC.

Fans can also buy individual game tickets in advance at the Yankees Box office.
