New York City FC arrived in Orlando, Florida today to kick off their 2020 preseason schedule with a roster of 36 players ready to face Brazilian teams Corinthians and Palmeiras.
Recent signings Keaton Parks and Gedion Zelalem will be in from the start of preseason and it will be the first taste of action as a First Team player for Bronx native and Homegrown defender Tayvon Gray.
Three players will miss the Florida training camp while on international duty: Valentin Castellanos, Sean Johnson, and Jesus Medina. They will all join up with the squad later in the preseason once their international obligations are fulfilled.
Ten Academy players and five trialists, including 2020 MLS SuperDraft selections Jesus Perez and Felicien Dumas, join the 21 signed NYCFC First Team players.
