New York City FC Loans Forward Seymour Reid to Sporting Kansas City

Today New York City FC has loaned Forward Seymour Reid to Sporting Kansas City through May 2027. In exchange New York City receives $75,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM), with up to an additional $50,000 GAM if certain performance objectives are met.  

The Club retains the right to recall the player if Reid does not meet a minutes threshold from now through the remainder of the 2026 season.  

This year, the Forward has made 14 appearances tallying one assist across all competitions.
