New York City FC to Participate in the 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational

New York City FC today announced that the Club will participate in the 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational, joining 11 other Major League Soccer (MLS) teams for preseason matches and training sessions from February 3 to February 13, 2027. 

New York City returns to the Coachella Valley Invitational for its fifth consecutive year, providing the Club with an opportunity to continue preparations for the 2027 MLS season at the largest preseason gathering in North American professional soccer. Additional details regarding New York City FC’s participation, including the Club’s match schedule and broadcast information, will be announced at a later date. 

The Coachella Valley Invitational brings together nearly half of the Clubs from MLS and the National Women’s Soccer League for a two-week event that offers fans an intimate setting to watch some of the nation’s top players and rising stars in action. Located on more than 250 acres of gardens and polo fields, the Empire Polo Club is one of Southern California’s premier outdoor event venues.
