New York City Football Club today announced a new partnership with CELSIUS®, Essential Energy, making the brand the Official Energy Drink Partner of the Club.
NYCFC and CELSIUS’ partnership comes on the heels of CELSIUS becoming the official energy drink of Major League Soccer (MLS), the drink’s first professional, national and traditional sports partnership. Partnering with NYCFC continues to expand CELSIUS’ footprint in the world of professional soccer and helps provide Essential Energy to the ever-growing MLS audience. As the Official Energy Drink of NYCFC, CELSIUS will now bring the energy directly to New York soccer fans.
As part of the agreement, CELSIUS will partner with NYCFC to enhance the fan experience for NYCFC supporters at home matches and other Club events. CELSIUS will integrate its products throughout the Club and select CELSIUS flavors will be available for fans to enjoy at marquee NYCFC events, watch parties and fan fests.
CELSIUS will also be the Club’s presenting partner for extra time and player substitutions, having its branding featured in-stadium during extra time and player substitutions. Additionally, CELSIUS branding will have a presence throughout the Etihad City Football Academy.
