Consulate Cup 2024

The 2024 Consulate Cup took place on September 28, 2024, at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. Georgia were crowned champions after beating USA in a thrilling final, which went to a penalty shootout. Those two teams had earlier beaten Switzerland and Mexico respectively in the semi-finals.

2024 saw 15 teams compete for the cup, including a team representing City in the Community. The teams included: Georgia, USA, Switzerland, Mexico, Italy, Sweden, UAE, Ecuador, Argentina, South Africa, Malaysia, Nigeria, Guatemala, Cameroon, and the United Kingdom.

Consulate Cup 2023

The Consulate Cup 2023 took place on October 15 at Socceroof in Brooklyn. The event ran from 10 AM to approximately 5 PM and saw Nigeria be crowned as winners after a great performance against Mexico. Switzerland took third place by winning the playoff.

The tournament featured the following 18 teams: Australia, Turkiye, Peru, Pakistan, Gambia, Indonesia, Germany, the UAE, Panama, Slovakia, Switzerland, Angola, El Salavdor, Nigeria, Japan, Burkina Faso, Mexico and the USA.

With some tight contests and spectacular goals, the competition was a smashing success.

Consulate Cup 2022

The inaugural Consulate Cup 2022 took place on October 1 at Crotona Park in the Bronx. Burkina Faso defeated Mexico to become the first team ever to lift the coveted trophy.

The tournament featured the following 16 teams: the USA, the UAE, Senegal, Pakistan, Canada, Morocco, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Japan, Burkina Faso, Mexico, Cameroon and a City in the Community team.

It was a very successful edition, full of action-packed games, impressive skills and beautiful goals. A worthy celebration of the beautiful game that enabled the first edition of the Community Cup the following spring to bring together hundreds of kids from all over New York.
